Tip of the Day: Pleasing Personality

Journal Entry: Sat Mar 10, 2012, 8:12 AM
With the amount of connectedness we have with one another these days, a pleasing personality will be more important then we think.

Sending positive vibes to you all.

While this is true, I think it is how you behave in difficult or troublesome situations that make people remember your personality.

"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

No, I am not a religious person, but I truly believe in this. Like ... what comes around, goes around. So, I try to be nice and polite and respectful. Fail miserably sometimes though :P

I have often heard most people would rather work with someone who is nice to be around, even if they aren't as good as someone who is just a mean/rude/unpleasant person.

Youīre saying we should bend ourselfes to please others? To a certain degree would be OK, but we must watch out not to cross that one certain line.

No, he's saying you shouldn't be a pointless belligerent self-righteous dick everywhere you go. :B

I dont think it is like that. Pleasing, as in pleasant. Specially when dealing with business works.

Of course, but then it should be called a pleasing behaviour. Being polite. Of course you have to be very polite with your business partners, but is that really your true personality?

But I donīt wanna turn this into a debate on principles. Just saying.

You kinda need a pleasing personality if you want to be effective in public. And yeah ^^ I do not fancy debates also.
