Tip of the Day: Sharing Knowledge

Journal Entry: Thu Mar 8, 2012, 7:11 AM
Don't be afraid to share your knowledge. You'll learn even more through teaching what you know.
Not just that but I feel that people who share, end up gravitating towards others that like to share.

Sending positive vibes to you all!
Bobby

I remeber seeing a quote about how knowledge is like a flame, meant to be kindled and transported throughout the community...and my sister said"before copyright laws". Still, I think it's a very good way to tihnk.

You'll learn even more through teaching what you know. That's a truth. Yup. Thanks for the reminder, Bobby! "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."

Good point. :) Though half of sharing has to be listening - something which a lot of "teachers" forget.

Actually, not long ago, here @ deviantART forum, I saw someone who tried to do this, but people's reaction around her (some, not all) was very "negative". They tried to stop her. They kept saying she wasn't good enough to give a tutorial and her "teaching" could mislead people coz she hadn't mastered the material yet. Oh my... why people had to be this "rude" to her, so demanding. Seems like just a good intention is never enough...
