Tip of the Day: getting up in the morning

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 13, 2012, 11:37 AM
Your goals can be very powerful. Think of them before you sleep and that's what will get you up in the mornings.

Sending positive vibes to you all!

Bobby

They really are. When I fail to get up in the mornings is when I'm lost. But when I'm fully motivated, I can get up early without any struggles.

Your tips of the day are really great. Keep 'em coming.

And yeah, sometimes getting up in the morning can be pretty tough and derail the entire day's work if not handled properly!

Hey I was thinking, Bobby you gives so much good advice, so I was thinking. Could you give an advice on stoyboading? I just started an internship at a advertising firm and if I do good, it will become my new job, but I don't really have the nessesary education on how to do storyboads or work professionally. I was only submited because of my drawing skills. So, do you have a really good advice for people like me? Really want that job.

Been doing that ever since got on winter break, and certainly helps (especially with my goal of completing deadlines faster). Lots of thanks for the positive vibes, Bobby! Best to you!!

I'm going to try this. Really Really hard. Because I've got a bad habit of just sleeping on and on . . .

As soon as I get up in the morning, before checking a phone, an email, turning on a radio or any background noise, I write down everything in my head in a book. Errant thoughts, goals, worries, mental clutter. Doesn't have to be neat or coherent. Once all that's out, I let it go and leave it there. Its an exercise that became a necessary part of my day and leaves me feeling centered and ready to study or work.
